Benedicte & Stephane Tissot are excellents winemakers in Jura in France, they are producing interesting wines from berries in a 32 hectares in Arbois on the Cotes de Jura appelation.
They working in biodynamic condition the use of Sulphur is very minimized. I had trough job the chance to taste their Chardonnay and by chance i bought a Pinot Noir from 2009:
Colour was a bit concentrate i assume the pigmentation in the fermentation was a bit longer from their cousins in Burgundy, show nice ripe fruit; currant and blackberries as secondary characteristic there were some tobacco and cinnamon running tighter with the fruit. Deeply length smooth tannin as every pinot has got, a chalky minerality on the palate with a freshness through the mouth for superb  acidity give a signal a long live to this vintage.
To enjoy with friends in a beautiful winter afternoon.

Follow my previous post recently I had another interesting Italian wine from north Italy.
Elisabetta Foradori the producer, an environmental friendly lady from the aspect of sustainability viticulture. Granato is his top bench mark of the winery made with Teroldego Rotaliano 100% a wines with a great structure and longevity made with  Anfora's "ancient clay pot" fermentation. 04 was still with an consistence tannin and freshness which give a the vintage the possibility to aging for at least another 10 years.... Try to believe me
Follow my tasting on Foradori's wines I had one of her white Myrto made with Sauvignon and Incrocio Manzoni full creaminess trough the mouth but however with a really pleasant acidity and minerality made as well with biodynamic technique and stirring on the less in Anfora's...
Follow by my research on Anfora's fermentation to try is C.O.S. another winery in Sicily which work at the same condition sustainability and minimal interventions on the land and in the winery is Cerasuolo di Vittoria is made with two native grapes from Sicily Nero d'Avola one and Frappato the second one... recommend to try
Fruit, spiciness and brightness is lovely characteristic.

A masterpiece form tuscany sangiovese 100%, Pergole Torte is the premium wine from Montevertini made by the most acclaimed winemakers of Tuscany "Giulio Gambelli" Which pass away not long ago.
He was famous to fight against the cultivation of international grapes in Tuscan like Cabernet, Merlot, Syrah and bla bla... He was focus on the local grapes in Tuscany such as Sangiovese...
Bright in color lot's red fruit raspberries, berries and plum spiciness and hint of balsamic nice back bone lovely structure; finesse and elegance oak and flavor grapes well integrated. Perhaps one of the most important italian wine.
