Harvest Controvento Abruzzo
Harvest @ Controvento Abruzzo Montepulciano D'Abruzzo is classic, well-rounded, plum-scented Italian red is made from Montepulciano grapes grown in the Abruzzo region, on Italy's Adriatic coast. The vineyards are spread all over the region, inland and along the coast, the latest benefit for the sea breeze on one side and the Apennine chain mountain on the other side. There are five viticultural sub-zones that have been identified as producing Montepulciano d'Abruzzo wines of a particular quality, and their names may well be found on labels, written as part of the appellation title. These are: Alto Tirino, Casauria, Teate, Terre dei Peligni and Terre dei Vestini.
