2016 Le Coste Bianco R Riserva from old vines.
Procanico from old vines trained in albarello "bush vines" in their vineyard named "La Chiesa".
Gianmarco Antonuzzi and Clémentine Bouveron are behind Le Coste's farm a14 hectares of land, with vines, olive trees, chestnut trees, shrubs, and patches of forest. The vines are planted in the proximity of the Lake of Bolsena in the town of Gradoli in Lazio’s region, the soils are volcanic, rich in iron and minerals. Vines are planted in high-density something close to 10,000 plants per hectare, some are massale selections, and ungrafted vines. Le Coste Vineyard began in February 2004 with only three hectares of abandoned land known as "Le Coste", which in the past had been a garden of vines and olives.
Clémentine Bouveron, graduated in viticulture and enology in Macon and also she is graduate of the Bordeaux wine school, she undertakes work experiences with Bruno Schueller, Gerald Oustric, Domenique Hauvette, and Thierry Allemand, and has been dedicating her life to the company for 15 years now. Gian Marco, a sommelier and wine lover since he was young, he has had various experiences in France, trying to understand what was behind a bottle of wine. Schueller, Didier Barral, Dard and Ribo and Jean Paul Thevenet to name some of the winemakers who welcomed him, formed him profoundly.
This exciting white wine is extracted from the Cru La Chiesa, made up of mainly the old vine of Procanico, Malvasia, Moscato, and other native vines.
