Peter Schell an Australian young punk's winemaker. In his wines want purity fruit, less alcohol and more finesse without losing structure he said to Decanter June 2012. I got the purity of the fruit a bit picked or cooked, however the fruit definitely is there, the tannin smoother lifted with a beautiful tonic minerality. He said fruit purity is captured by harvesting earlier, the stems are using to inject spice and perfume, wild yeast give personality to the wine and large french oak with a long lees aging give the final complexity... Too watch .... Next one if a find a bottle would Bress, Le Grand Coq Noir by Adam Marks. good sunday afternoon with Spinifex. Salute

Palistorti di Valgiano Bianco (50% Vermentino, 25% Trebbiano and Malvasia, 25% Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc – Vintages 2010) – 2010 was a warm vintage and the wine really carried its piercing acidity and flinty minerality through the finish. I liked it 2010. Great value...... Great wine for a winery in Lucca in Tuscany using biodynamic farming and international grapes blended with native Tuscany grapes as Vermentino and Sangiovese. A wine; between underground approach and conventional approachiness. To go with a Pop art and contemporary artist:

superb example from the Moric line of wines by Roland Velich, a Burgundy-obsessed producer who is showing that the ancient Blaufränkisch grape (known as Lemberger in Washington State and Kekfrankos in Hungary) can produce fascinating reds in white wine country. Very similar to Pinot Noir, this Blaufränkisch has a beautiful aroma of berries and sweet spices coupled with lean, elegant fruit. This wine is alive: Taste the way it changes in the glass. Savagnin Emanuel Houillon Arbois Pupillin Pretty shy on opening. Given some air, this unfurls on the palate that Overnoy textural cloud that delicately saturates every nook and cranny, infusing it with fractal complexity. The veil character is strong, but manages to be subtle and finessed. Lacy yet fierce acidity cuts down the middle. So subtle and beautiful, this is a wine for contemplation Two great wines from uncommon areas in Europe Burgeland in Austra and Jura in France... to go with alternative ex...

LATRICIÈRES CHAMBERTIN GRAND CRU Pinot Noir vineyard planted in 1961, 1971, and 1981. Surface Area: 0,33 hectares (0.82 acres) An impoverished and shallow marl and limestone soil. Next-door neighbor of the grand cru Chambertin. The wine affirms itself as relatively powerful, but its richness harmonizes nicely with the finesse and elegance of the wine. It is wise to wait a few years before drinking while this grand cru reaches its potential in the cellar. Great wine i had a long times ago I just read an article on it and i remember how delicious it was, i just copy the detail on the website on Simon Bize... A wine to have in the cellar at you house please

Benedicte & Stephane Tissot are excellents winemakers in Jura in France, they are producing interesting wines from berries in a 32 hectares in Arbois on the Cotes de Jura appelation. They working in biodynamic condition the use of Sulphur is very minimized. I had trough job the chance to taste their Chardonnay and by chance i bought a Pinot Noir from 2009: Colour was a bit concentrate i assume the pigmentation in the fermentation was a bit longer from their cousins in Burgundy, show nice ripe fruit; currant and blackberries as secondary characteristic there were some tobacco and cinnamon running tighter with the fruit. Deeply length smooth tannin as every pinot has got, a chalky minerality on the palate with a freshness through the mouth for superb acidity give a signal a long live to this vintage. To enjoy with friends in a beautiful winter afternoon.

Follow my previous post recently I had another interesting Italian wine from north Italy. Elisabetta Foradori the producer, an environmental friendly lady from the aspect of sustainability viticulture. Granato is his top bench mark of the winery made with Teroldego Rotaliano 100% a wines with a great structure and longevity made with Anfora's "ancient clay pot" fermentation. 04 was still with an consistence tannin and freshness which give a the vintage the possibility to aging for at least another 10 years.... Try to believe me Follow my tasting on Foradori's wines I had one of her white Myrto made with Sauvignon and Incrocio Manzoni full creaminess trough the mouth but however with a really pleasant acidity and minerality made as well with biodynamic technique and stirring on the less in Anfora's... Follow by my research on Anfora's fermentation to try is C.O.S. another winery in Sicily which work at the same condition sustainability and minimal inter...
